Lora was introduced to and fell in love with the field of sports medicine at a very young age. She was an athlete in high school and injured her knee which required arthroscopic repair. She worked closely with her Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapists to recover from that injury and then went on to pursue Athletic Training for her undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. She then continued her academic endeavors and obtained her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Indiana State University. She returned to Boston as a Certified Athletic Trainer where she worked closely with the female athlete population.
Feeling the chill of the Northeast, she migrated to Southern California and went on to pursue her second post graduate degree at the University of Southern California becoming a Physician Assistant. She moved to San Diego with her fiancé shortly after graduation and fell in love with the slower pace of life here in San Diego. Lora enjoys being outdoors with her dog and practicing yoga. She loves to spend time with family and friends and rooting for all Boston sports teams in her spare time.
